Hi there! I'm Travis, a 26 year old Sound Designer/Composer living in Seattle. I write music and create audio experiences for Microsoft.
Prior to getting into triathlon, I was a state champion XC runner in NJ, before continuing my 5K and 10K running career at NYU. In the 5K, I ran a PR of 15:39. A hip fracture my sophomore year put me out through college.
I met my girlfriend Sami, a cyclist, 3 years ago. She threw me on a bike, and it was shortly after that I fell in love with triathlon. 3 years into my career, I have completed 7 70.3's and recently earned 12 in 25-29 at Ironman Louisville. I've podium'd in sprint, olympic, and 70.3 distances, and am looking for my first IM podium this year at IM Florida. I'm proud to compete for PR Performance based in Seattle, where I'm coached by Rocky Ursino.
Outside of triathlon, I love playing music and video games. I've been a touring guitarist for a variety of bands and artists, and love playing with local bands throughout the Seattle Area.
