I am a self-coached, competitive age-grouper from Arizona. My wife and I have been competing in triathlons since 2012. Over the years I have bonded with new friends and inspired old friends to take up the sport. I enjoy training, traveling and competing.
In 2015, I became an Ironman in 2015 (Arizona) and in 2017, I qualified and competed in Ironman Worlds 70.3 in Chattanooga, TN. In 2018, I achieved All American and AWA Gold.
Unfortunately, I broke my arm in late 2018 and it took longer to heal so I missed out on several of my 2019 races. 2020 was a bit of a life change/challenge, this change leaked into 2021 with a new job and a new state. However, I am looking forward to racing again in 2023. Although I fell off the Tri wagon, I hope to gather the strength to get competitive again, or at least get off the couch (hypothetically). I have been a member of the team since inception.
