I run a marketing company with my wife.
We have 2 boys, 20 and, almost, 16 both of whom are triathletes.
I am a (long ago) former Marine.
At 44 I had a heart attack and 5x bypass surgery. Since then I've run numerous road races up to and including 2 marathons and a bunch of triathlons including 5 Ironman (6 at IMFL22).
My heart surgery scar itches and hurts at some point every single day. It's a reminder to keep my act together.
I firmly believe the destinations one chooses are merely tools to define the journey. I'm pretty excited about the journey.
