In 2002 I bought my first mountain bike and was a casual rider until I started participating in local mountain bike races in 2009. It was a lot of fun and I had great results, always on the podium, so I really enjoyed it. I began adding Barry-Roubaix to my race schedule as well as other event rides and races. In 2016 I challenged myself to finish my first Lumberjack 100. My results were not great, but I finished and learned a lot about proper nutrition using Infinit exclusively for that race. After completing Lumberjack I became very interested in endurance events. In 2017, I bought a road bike and completed the One Day Ride Across Michigan (ODRAM). In 2018, I started riding more gravel and combined my love of endurance and gravel, completing my first Michigan Coast to Coast gravel race in 2019. My race schedule for 2020 was full of endurance gravel events and mountain bike races that unfortunately did not happen, however I have continued to train as though I was racing. In 2020, I have also had the pleasure of helping a few friends accomplish their first century rides as well as taking first-timers on bikepacking adventures. I look forward to a great year of racing, and adventure rides in 2023!
