Like many people, my lifelong dream has been to compete in a full IM race. I have just recently started taking this dream seriously and taking steps to prepare myself for the race. In my preparation for IM races, I have realized that I am not just signed up for IM races to cross it off my bucket list - I have found a sport that I'm passionate about and will continue to practice for a long time. It's really exciting to be a part of the triathlete community. My husband and I just moved to Denver in the past year, so we are looking forward to joining a team. I'm also working on convincing my 9 siblings (who are all successful and active people) and extended family to sign up for a race with me. :)
Below are some recent races and results as I have started my journey as a triathlete.
- IM Lubbock 70.3 (2019) - 3rd in women 18-24, 55 women overall, 287 overall rank
