I have cycled for over 30 years. When the knees were better about 10 years ago, i did triathlons. Now, i am more into long rides. Frequent 100 mile rides. I have also started into 24 hour bike rides. That is where nutrition has been playing the biggest factor. I can eat and drink for a hundred miles but 300 is another animal. In addition, I am a physician assistant and take health and conditioning seriously for me and to be an example to my patients.
