Hi! I'm a triathlete turned cyclist. I mostly race road - and love being a part of a women's team and traveling around the country to race my bicycle.
My old team nickname was Eddie MacGyver because I was handy with bikes on the fly: my teammate lost her bike saddle bolt/nut. I found the bolt about 1/4 mile behind us, but none of us could find the nut. I used a bike tube nut to screw the bolt and her seat back on since we were in a remote area and 40 miles from the team house. She road comfortably all the way home.
I take pride in being a good wheel, a domestique for my teammates (I am a Cat 2), and trying to get more women into bike racing!
