My biggest and fearful challenge was how to swim. Long story short, I was challenged by my friend in 2010 that I could not defeat her in a sprint triathlon. How true it was! 2 times! I started with doing breast stroke all the way for the next 2 races until I "youtubed" how to swim. Gradually was able to swim freestyle with confidence the next couple of years. 2012 Ironman Arizona was my true swimming challenge-back when it was still a mass start. Ever since I have been doing 70.3's and IM's. I've never been fitter in my life. I love the challenge of training, family and work.
