I grew up as a swimmer. I started swimming with the club swim team at the National Training Center in Clermont, FL at the age of 10 and carried that into a 4-year swim career as a student-athlete at Florida Institute of Technology. However, having grown up in the triathlon hub that is Clermont, I was always around swimmers, cyclists, and runners and rode and ran intermittently. It wasn’t until I finished my undergraduate degree in May 2021 that I realized I wanted to give triathlons a serious go.
I'm extremely passionate about seeing how far consistency and hard work can get someone in the sport of triathlon and sport in general. Longevity in triathlon is a must. By enjoying the process, meeting new people, and seeing those consistent daily efforts turn into huge returns over the years, I believe this sport can be life-changing in so many different ways.
