Hello! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, learned how to swim and finally owned a bike as an adult. I fell in love with tri back in 2011. Fast forward to the past 2 years- in 2021 I got engaged to my beautiful (now wife) and qualified for Kona in Lake Placid. (Two dream come true events in one year!). Kona got cancelled again (and again), we planned a wedding, bought a house and decided to relocate with our two pups from NYC to Dallas. Oh and I competed in IMWC St. George (too!). Since I was registered prior to the event turning into a championship (I like a good challenge), Ironman graciously offered me Kona deferment for 2023 which I gladly accepted. So this year is about building up to that event while meeting and training with people in a new city. And fueling with a lot of infinit. I believe anything is possible and feel that dreams truly can and do come true with the right mindset, heart and willingness to do the work. And to remember to have some downtime/ fun too!
