I got into triathlon after attending IM Coeur d’alene as a spectator in 2016. I was so inspired by the finishers, we stayed until midnight with the last of them. I went and bought my first road bike the next day and started training for Ironman CdA the following year in 2017. I competed in and completed my first two races that year (IM CdA 70.3 and IM CdA). Following 2017, I suffered a stress fracture in my right leg and was forced to take a few years off. My health and fitness spiraled and I was in a bad health state. I realized I needed to make a change. I lost nearly 50 pounds and I am happier and healthier than ever. Fast forward to 2019 and I was back to racing. I completed two 70.3s and a full IM in 2021 and two 70.3s and two full IMs this year (2022).

I am focusing on the 70.3 distance next year with a goal to make it to Finland for the World Champs.

Starting last year, I began using Infinit products as my training and on-course nutrition and I could not be happier. Every run photo I have from the last two seasons has my bright yellow Infinit run bottle in toe!
